Haha...this is the nineth day of selectve posting at HSI. Very happy today as I get to learned some more procedures. Finally I get to do a PR and arterial puncture! I even heard bronchial breathing, it was so obvious (I never get to heard it in Seremban Hosp).
Then it became even more excited when I get the oppoturnity to observe pleural tapping and biopsy. Well, I have gone through my Internal medicine posting, so you would probably think that I should have seen this during the posting earlier. However, frankly, it wasn't easy to get such a chance back in Seremban. There were too many people, even if there is one, I wouldn't get the chance to observe the procedure as close as I get to at HSI. And now, I also learned the proper steps of CVP line insertion. Perhaps I may get to perform one next time if there is a chance.
By now, I have performed a few blood C & S. Now I am quite confident of performing it alrerady.
Well, I must say, Dr. Lee, Dr. Lim, Dr. Jolyn, and Dr. Aniza all have inspired me in some way or another. Learning is more fun now.... Hehe^^
